Prior to 1980, if narrow web print shops wanted an anilox roller, they had to order it from the wide web guys. Being in the industry, Doug Collins realized the true need of the printer and set out to change this. From humble beginnings in a 1750 square foot house he owned on his property, the first narrow web anilox engraving company began.
